Wallet Policy

1. General

1.1 This Wallet Policy (the "Policy") governs the use of the sheandmom.com wallet ("Wallet"), which is available to registered users of sheandmom.com ("Platform"). This wallet allows users to accumulate cashback, loyalty points, and other rewards, which can be redeemed during purchases on the Platform.

1.2 By using the Wallet, you agree to abide by this Policy, which is a part of our Terms and Conditions and is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Returns & Exchanges Policy.

2. Wallet Balance and Usage

2.1 The Wallet balance may consist of:

  • Cashback: Amount given back as part of promotions, offers, or returns.
  • Loyalty Points: Earned for specific actions like purchases, reviews, or referrals.

2.2 The Wallet balance is non-transferable, meaning the value in the wallet can only be used for transactions on the Platform. It cannot be transferred to another account or redeemed for cash.

2.3 Redemption of Wallet Balance:
You can use the Wallet balance to make payments at checkout for eligible products. The Wallet balance can cover up to 100% of the order value, subject to applicable terms.

3. Earning Cashback and Loyalty Points

3.1 You can earn cashback and loyalty points in the following ways:

  • Making purchases on the Platform.
  • Participating in promotional campaigns or special offers.
  • Referring friends or completing specific actions as part of loyalty programs.

3.2 The amount of cashback or points earned will be clearly communicated to you before or at the time of earning. These points may vary depending on the ongoing promotions or loyalty programs.

4. Expiry and Forfeiture of Wallet Balance

4.1 Expiration of Points:
Loyalty points may have an expiration date. Points will expire 12 months after the date of earning unless otherwise stated in the specific promotional terms.

4.2 Cashback:
Cashback added to the Wallet may have specific validity periods. Please refer to the relevant offer terms for expiration details.

4.3 If your account is inactive for a period of 12 months or more, the remaining wallet balance (points or cashback) may be forfeited, and the account will be considered inactive.

5. Refunds and Returns

5.1 Wallet Refunds:
If you return an item purchased with wallet balance, the corresponding amount of cashback or points used will be refunded to your Wallet, as per our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

5.2 Refunds to Wallet:
Any cashback or loyalty points used during a purchase will be refunded back to the Wallet if the entire order is canceled or returned.

5.3 Refund to Wallet Option:
You may choose to have the full refund amount credited to your Wallet, regardless of whether the original payment was made using the Wallet balance or another payment method. In such cases, the refund will be added to your Wallet as store credit or loyalty points, which can be used for future purchases.

6. Restrictions and Limitations

6.1 Non-transferability:
The wallet balance cannot be transferred to any third party or another account.

6.2 No Cash Conversion:
Cashback and points cannot be converted to cash or withdrawn from the Wallet.

6.3 No Interest:
The wallet balance will not accrue any interest.

6.4 Ineligibility for Certain Transactions:
The Wallet cannot be used for certain transaction types, including but not limited to:

  • Purchase of gift cards or vouchers.
  • Payments for shipping, taxes, or delivery fees, unless otherwise stated.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

7.1 Suspension/Termination of Account:
If your account is suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions or any fraudulent activity, the balance in your Wallet may be forfeited.

7.2 Invalid Account Information:
If the Wallet balance is credited or redeemed with invalid or inaccurate account information, Gloria reserves the right to adjust, reverse, or remove such transactions.

8. Fraud and Misuse of Wallet

8.1 Fraudulent Activities:
We reserve the right to suspend, block, or terminate the account of any user suspected of fraudulent activities, including unauthorized use of wallet balances, misuse of points, or engaging in activity designed to exploit the Wallet system.

8.2 Account Monitoring:
We monitor transactions related to wallet usage for any suspicious activities and reserve the right to take corrective action if necessary.

9. Modifications to the Wallet Program

9.1 Changes to Wallet Program:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Wallet program at any time, including but not limited to changes in how points or cashback are earned, redeemed, or the introduction of new features.

9.2 Notification:
Users will be notified of significant changes via email or Platform notifications. Continued use of the Wallet after such modifications implies your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 This Policy, as part of the Terms and Conditions, is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi, India.
